(For those of you who have seen that Friends episode. Yes, I don't watch TV, but you can buy them on DVD now!)

You know what I don’t understand? I don’t understand how people with absolutely NO personality can work in customer service. I mean seriously! I hate that lately everywhere I seem to go has NO personality. I’m making a total ass of ( Read more... )

Hmmm...Why is Harry Potter so good? It's such a complex answer. Are you sure you really want it? And also, have you ever attempted to read them? Need to know those two answers first.

And breathe, the recent Harry Potter craze will calm soon enough... ;o)

I would like to know. And I have not just attempted, I read the first 4. Found them childish and boring. Getting wordier and wordier with each new edition. Also, I dont understand the hype. They werent bad books, but they were good as childrens books. I cant understand people above 12 liking them.

That was not meant as an insult.

So explain please :)

Sorry for the delay. I’d apologize for the length, but you brought that upon yourself. :o)

Well first, one does have to have a special place in their heart for magic or those things considered fantastic (vs. normal or average). Although, I have seen anti-fantasy readers shirk their dislike to read Harry Potter-and enjoy the experience.

Well, part of the reason that people over the age of twelve can enjoy the series of Harry Potter is the fact that Rowling’s style in writing is actually no lower than many adult books. Otherwise, Rowling is one of those authors who doesn’t need to spiff up her writing with buzz words; she simply writes it how it is.

Although, you might argue that her writing goes too far into detail and her stories become much too long. However, many enjoy the fact that her books are longer with each new year (myself being one of them). It means more time to spend in the land that lucky Harry Potter inhabits. I have never found Rowling to be longwinded in the least. Her action scene with the serpent in The ( ... )

I don't understand how people with no personality get jobs either. It's quite sad. Maybe they're just having an "off" day (though doubtful) but we all have those days.

Hurrah for Harry Potter!

Congrats on your room in the Honors complex!! I'm sure you are going to absolutely love it. And, congrats on your economics tests. Very imprexxive. Personally, I find economics extremely boring. So, kudos to you!!

Hurrah for new tires that do not shake!! and for paychecks.

I have to admit, I love Sprint. But, our customer service at the store does suck. But, after 18 months you get $150 off a new phone!! You should be close...

I'm so glad you agree about the personalities! I just don't get it. How can you make conversation, and they just...like...stare? I mean, even if they're having one of those "days," you'd think they'd at least attempt to smile or something...

Hurrah for Harry Potter, indeed! I'm on to the 4th year now. BUAHAHAHAHA.

Yes, hurrah for those tires! Hah, I can once again go on the freeway! BUAHAHAHA!

Yeah, I LOVE my plan with Sprint, and they do have cool phones. I think I just got a bad phone, all in all. And yes, some of the customer service does suck, though The Woodlands is better than Akron. Oh, by a landslide. I just need to get a new phone... In September I can get a new one with $75 off. That would be good... but I'll also be paying for it, I bet. So that would be doubly good, heh...
