Ship meme - Day 09 - the most believable couple

For most believable couple I've chosen Chandler and Monica (Friends).
It was kind of a predictable choice as many of my other ships have to do with aliens, spies, natural disasters, so really I had to pick a ship from a show that's closer to real life. Chandler and Monica are kind of a model couple, really, of the kind who are 'friends first' (if only I remembered the title of the episode this is in reference to!), then get together and work really hard at their relationship. Both have idiosyncrasies and they're not 100% aligned on life but they love each other despite all that and they know that they'd rather fight every once in a while than not be together at all.
The one thing I never liked about this ship is how they got together though, and while I'm happy that it developed from 'drunken mistake' to serious relationship and then marriage, I still would have preferred a more romantic approach... Especially when in season 7 they reveal she was looking for Joey!! That was the worst. So, while I'm slightly skeptical that a relationship for life can actually develop from a drunken one night stand, I will turn a blind eye to that bit because what happens after is one of the sweetest ships of all time ♥
