quick update

haven't been around because i've been in the hospital since mother's day. apparently i had appendicitis and it ruptured before the surgery causing all sorts of toxins and infections in my body.

I'm almost done a 10 day stay in the hospital. it sucks. i'll post again soon. even though we're through the worst, please keep us in your

Aw man... I hope you're doing better really soon. I was wondering why you haven't updated lately. My best friend had appendicitis a month after having her first baby too... I'm sure you miss her like crazy.

I actually got to keep her with me for most of the time, with the exception of 2.5 days when she had to go on formula. Otherwise, I nursed her all the time.

You and your luck! I'm so sorry to hear that. Sounds dreadful. Are you able to nurse okay? How's everybody (you, husband, baby, extended family) holding up?

Except for 2.5 days, I was able to nurse Chelsea. I had to pump and dump for 2 days because of the dye they injected into me for the CT scan.

Everyone was really good. Chris was amazing. I don't know how I would have done it without him.
