When I started this blog, I intended it to be a journal.  I don't mind people reading my journal.  (Duh!  I wouldn't post to an online blog if I didn't want people reading it, or at least I'd lock the entries.)  I even appreciate comments to keep me thinking.  I like hearing other people's perspectives on things.

I would hug you if I were where you are (I don't believe that I was present at the conversation that you are talking about, because I think that I would remember that phrase, but if I was there, I'm sorry for not seeing that you were hurt).

I guess the difference between an online journal, and one that you keep in a notebook under your bed, is that you do sort of invite comment, whether it be praise or criticism. I pretty much try to butt out of other peoples' business unless they've specifically asked for us not to, but I guess that is sort of one of the inherent "dangers" in keeping a blog.

But I'm sorry that you have had something obviously really negative happen to you, because of something you said.
