We've been using it for years. And except for when it suddenly crashes, or decides to display three years ago instead of now, or quitting itself when we try to run one of those reports, it works fine.
my gripes with quicken: 1. doesn't conform to mac ui guidelines esp. regarding keyboard shortcuts (CMD+A should always select all of text in a field, not go to the accounts window!) 2. reconciling my credit card statements using downloaded web-connect/.qif files BLOWS. it drops some of my transactions and there is no way to manually match up other transactions. huge waste of time going through and deleting duplicates that quicken inevitably inserts. 3. memo field in each transaction has funky textbox behavior, i.e. scroll right of it and font/placement of words changes. this bug is unacceptable for a product this mature! 4. your account register windows all close when trying to view a report? not smooth. also not smooth: split transactions behavior. ... and more. it's just so clunky. the last pc version i used had less problems.
