I claimed some time ago that the frequency of my LJ posts are inversely proportioned to how satisfied I am with life. I almost got up from bed last night to write this; the words and phrases kept interrupting my efforts to sleep, sometimes standing alone, sometimes building into complete thoughts. This is a brave thing to write. I have something that's neither consolation nor desolation to share and that's that I'm not sure that questioning of what you've accomplished, of what your life means, EVER goes away. I think it always returns when you sense you're getting too complacent. Even some of us lawyer types look at the way we're practicing law or at how we handle our relationships or at what we do with our spare time and think, "Goddamnit. I'm totally coasting

Oh, and I'd love to see you on FB, if only because I use it to organize many of my social endeavors and would love to have you involved more often.

You are fucking awesome. Good for you for being able to finally get a grasp of your heart and soul and come to a decision. Sometimes the hardest thing in the world is to just decide.

But once you do, you're ready to go!

Remember: You're not lost as long as you're headed somewhere. You don't even have to know where that somewhere is, as long as you're moving, it's progress.
