[Zelda's back again, he thinks, but there's something - wrong, about this. This girl is not the one that he knows. There are similarities, in the clothes, in the crown, in the clear blue eyes... but this is someone else.

His brow is furrowed in confusion and concern, but he smoothes out his expression to greet her.]

You're in a place called Demeleier.

[A surprised expression crosses her face. For a moment, she is stuck trying to figure out whether this new face on her screen belongs to the device, or whether she is actually seeing someone who is at a different location. Either way, she needs to respond.]

Demeleier? [That does not sound familiar at all.] How do I return to Hyrule?

You can't, right now. We're trapped here. [He's stuck for a moment, studying her, noting all the little difference between her and the other Hylian woman he knows. He continues, however, wincing a little when he shifts - he's still covered in heavy bruising.]

[Trapped. That is never a good word to hear. And time has...frozen. That wasn't something she did, was it? The last thing she remembers is playing the Ocarina and sending Link back to his own time. What if she...messed up somehow? It wouldn't be the first time.

Well, one thing at a time. She raises a hand to the rowan crown on her head. She had been wondering about that and left it alone for the most part.]

[His condition doesn't escape her notice. She takes it as a sign that there may be danger here.]

[He feels like he's seen her face a thousand times before, but never with his own eyes. Other people's memories, other people's dreams - his own, too, once or twice. Pictures other people painted, stories other people told - by rights, he should know her utterly, intimately, above and beyond anyone else.

They were one, after all, years or centuries ago. He had never known, then, but he knows who he's looking at now. He knows immediately, and even though disbelief spikes in his chest - no, it can't be, they wouldn't, it can't be - it is short lived, a weak weapon easily turned away.

He feels strangely anxious, fingers threatening to shake. He swallows hard, and lifts his communicator.]

[She has never been one to successfully hide all her emotions, but she usually manages better than this open-mouthed stare that she gives him in return. This was not a face she expected to see - he's alive? or is she seeing things? - so she does not know what to say in return. It was one thing to know what he looked like and who he is, but this...she's actually seeing him. With her own eyes. From the outside.]

[Another one. It still surprises her when she hears a new voice over her communicator.]

Can you tell me what else you know about this place?

Uh ... it's not Discedo?

[ This person looks.. well, a little familiar, and Nanako recognizes the name 'Hyrule' as well, but it's still confusing.. ]

U-um.. this is Demeleier.. [ She frowns a little out of confusion. ] Are you okay?

Yes, I'm fine. It will just take a little time for me to get used to this place.

It is nice to meet you, too, Nanako. I am Zelda. [Once again, she leaves off the 'princess of Hyrule' bit until they need more formal introductions, if ever.] I would be glad to have your help.
