I've been there before, talking to somebody you felt you were close with and had little to no reply on the phone, it's a shitty feeling. However, maybe it just wasn't right? It's hard for me to say much about it since I don't know much.
Maybe this person is going through something they are unable to express to you.. it's hard to say being on the outside of it all.

Either way I hope whatever it is that is not good turns around for you. <3 :hug & eye poke:
