uhg, lately I've more frequently than usual feeling that many people are angry with me. This morning I work up to my dad calling to inform me that the GM of the Friendly's that I work at wanted to speak to me. I call, and Dave proceeds to go on his powertrip-of-a rant, trying to intimidate me into doing as he wishes. He was pissed because I ( Read more... )

Hi,
I don't know where you got stopped, but I got stopped in Framingham once and got a huge ticket. I
went in to court and the cop didn't show. I asked the judge whether I had the right to face my
accuser. He said yes, but that the way he ran his court was as follows. If I wanted to challenge
the ticket on the grounds of the cop not showing, he would find me "liable" or whatever the term is
for guilty in traffic matters, then I could appeal it, and if the officer didn't show at the appeal, then I would get off. He wasn't going to drop the fine based on the officer not showing up at the
original hearing. I did appeal, but then I never showed because I was busy with other things.
So that's how they do it in Framingham! By the way, if you get a hearing at, say, 9:00, don't show up at 9:00 or you won't be seen until like 11:30. Show up at 8:00, because they take people on
a first come first served basis, even though they don't tell you this!
I feel your pain about the speeding ticket dude.

The ticket was in what I think to be Southborough, by the park between route 9 and route 30. I don't know, if I have to show up at TWO court, or whatever they are, hearings I might just pay the ticket. Are citation appeals generally delt with in the morning, do you know?

I think I've only appealed 2 tickets, and the appeals were both held in the morning.

The strange thing about the dreams, which I haven't had for a while, is their vividness. The kind of dreams where I feel like I had just been at work for a while. I just hope I become effecient enough to make decent money soon, thus making up for the stress. I think I will. I'm only going to be working at this Friendly's for a month and a week or so, which is not long.
