With me...I'm now on my own in Israel, contrasted with staying with Hed in Haifa all the time or at least using their home as a base. Right now I find myself in an incredibly inexpensive youth hostel called Mugraby Hostel. I am ever so slightly intoxicated from the club I was at earlier -- that is alcohol wise

And lets not forget, the Arabs "lucky" enough to not be expelled from their homes are second class citizens both economically and socially.

Also don't forget that many of the Palestinians inside the Green Line were expelled from their homes, or otherwise lost them in the shock and horror of the war, but the places they ended up taking refuge in wound up under Israeli rule. After the war was over, the government designated such people as "present absentees".
