If you're not watching Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel, you should punch yourself in the ear. I recommend the lions hunting the elephant clip, though the videos available don't really do the show justice.

I'm pretty sure this is the series I watched at Greg and Lindsey's. And it was possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever been witness too. And it was even better narrated by David Attenborough than I imagine by ol' Ripley (as the site tells me).

Yeah those mind-controlling bacteria were fucking amazing. I nearly vomited when they just started exploding out of that thing's head.

And what amazes me the most about that cave salamander is that you can see that he used to have eyes and other facial features, but he stayed in that cave for a few millenia too long. He just let himself go. It's sad, really.
