I have just been doing a lot of thinking lately. about life, about friends and about the future. I've been questioning everything in my past and the present. and i am so uncertain about everything, well about most things. but it seems that some things remain true. true friends are hard to come by. best friends dont really last. some people never

i completely understand what you meen about the whole farmington not being your home. i defantly feel the same way. its kinda sad cause i have/(had?) some really good friends there, but it seems like they all drifted off into a differnt world, and i wend head long in another direction. but hey i'm happy, just wish i could see the rest of you guys once and a while. hope school is going well.

I don't know anything about anything really. I've never lived away from "home". So I haven't a clue about what it's like. However, I do have a general idea of people. (I'm surrounded by them and they won't leave me be.) Everybody has something in common with everybody, it's a nifty little trick the heart plays. I really believe that enemies can get along. But, fortunately most people don't have real adversaries. That is, of course, you count themselves. (this is all me talking about me, basically. i'm not trying to infer anything.)
For the house but not a home thing. It's very disheartening to hear that. I hate to think that when I eventually do move away, FHills will turn it's back on me. People grow, shift, change, so obviously it's hard to maintain a strong connection. But, how do we know if our proverbial puzzle pieces don't fit anymore? People have to give other's a chance to prove themselves worthy of being called an idiot.

I Hope you find your center, and when you do, don't settle.

oh gary...for some reason i just knew you would be one of people to respond. it's kind of nice to hear back from someone who hasnt completely blocked me out...or hate me...you dont hate me do you...i know we got in a fight a while back. but i'm sorry. and i know that apology is late, just hope you can forgive me...anyways, i am going to be in town next week mon-wed. and if you want to maybe get together and talk and all that. just give me a ring. and if you dont have the number, shoot me an email. wong1tm@cmich.edu
