My friend Nick is in Paris right now, he says cars keep blowing up. They're not allowed into the suburbs at night, because the "suburban immigrant youth" won't stop with the violence.

The only thing i know is that it started when 2 african teens were electrocuted while being pursued by the police...and now all the riots are spreading to belgium and germany.

Yeah I read the bit on the two African teens, but that still doesn't really make much sense as to why NATION-WIDE YOUTH VIOLENCE is popping up.

Belgium and Germany too eh? Lovely.

go here and click on the link in the article that says "Watch youths speak on the roots of their anger."
There's a video, and it kind of explains things better.

Thank you for that. I suppose it all comes clearer hour by hour. With unemployment rates at forty percent in some areas, its no surprise that there's a large amount of people that are pissed off.

I suggest reading a newspaper like the Boston Globe or New York Times, they both cover the whole thing in a lot more detail than tv would
