Sure knocked some sense into the heads of French tacticians, who finally realized that piece-meal attacks, even with mounted knights, won't penetrate a well-defended line.

"...almost without seeing the men who slew them." Gotta love arrowclouds.

No one cares about Crécy in 1346, though. Why?
