Grad Schools

These are the grad schools I am thinking of applying to, in order of how much I like them. I am still doing research, but these are my top ones ( Read more... )

i went to madison and it's a great school but funding is very limited. it was actually my top choice for a school but i got NO aid. it's a very big city, also (not sure if that's your thing but it definitely wasn't mine) plus the weather sucked when i was there (maybe that's an unfair judgment but oh well). i also visited chapel hill and absolutely hated the area. there is nothing in the immediate vicinity besides the school and, maybe it was just my department, but i could not get anyone to contact me on a regular basis and no one responded when i tried to set up a meeting.

good luck. the gre is an epic amount of time for a shitty payoff but it's not as bad as you think it is.

Thanks for the insight! I have heard Madison is a good school, but bad weather and no money scares me haha.

Good to know about UNC-Chapel Hill- I will remember that!
