Back! And doing my best to catch up on LJ and school alike. But wait! Guess who's band got a Gold Award in nationals?

... Guess who just realized how incredibly geeky that sounded?

Okay, also. There was snow on the ground this morning, when I woke up. Several inches of it. Several feet, outside the city. Newsflash, Mother Nature: It's. ( Read more... )

Thank you! We played really well, better than in rehearsal, and I think it's because we really came together as a band.

Hee! That $5 bet was me trying to find a way to get hockey in there. Although, I have to tell you, I'm with Dan on this one. Once in a blue moon, maybe would New York beat the Red Wings. Meh, that's why I love it.

Thanks!

Yay for you being back and winning things, and also for horses.

*whinny*

And those are a lovely ten things. Ten lovely things. Whatever. I love the pre-show Danny ones best, because I'm addicted to young!Dan, but they're all wonderful.

Yay indeed for horses. They made my day just that much brighter.

Thank you very much. Those are actually my favourite ones too, because I am also obsessed with young!Dan and I'm entirely blaming you. So there.

Yay for the award!

And SNOW! Where do you live, girl?! You're scaring me, we are heading for Alaska next week, I really thought, ya know, being almost summer and all, we would kinda be done with the snow. I love snow mind, and don't see nearly enough, but when I'm looking at days of nothing but driving on the Alcan Highway, the idea of snow is scary.

I loved your fives. I am so predictable, in that my favorites are the last in both. (I am a sad sad person.)

Yay!

Um, yeah. Snow's long gone by now, but I don't know about Alaska. I'm considerably farther south than that, in Calgary. I don't blame you for wanting the snow out of there by the time you get in. Driving in snow scares me.

Hee! Thank you. (Sh... they're mine too.)

YAY AWARD! *twirls you*

And you survived the ninth-graders too - that deserves another award. *more twirling*

Sorry to be late - lj wouldn't let me post. grrr. These are a lovely second set of five things (you already know I like the first lot, right?). #4 broke my heart a little bit but #5 made me cheer.

Also, wtf horses? We have cows. But they tend to stay off the main roads.

I know - it's so exciting! *is twirled* You should've heard the volume on the bus when we found out.

I did, indeed, survive the ninth-graders. There are a couple of cool ones, and I managed to stay away from the annoying ones, for the most part. Naw, they're good kids. Even if there is a lot of them.

Stupid lj. *kicks interwebs* Hee, thanks! Sh... it's a secret, but I really like #5, so I'm glad you do too. Writing #4 actually just depressed me. Thanks.

"wtf horses" is pretty much where I was when I heard. Cows are... cool. We have lots of them. Usually, they stay off the main roads as well.

Although, generally, so do the horses.
