This was lovely and complicated and great to read, I love the history and the rhythm of it, how they all circle around each other up until the very end. Fantastic.

I think my favorite thing about this story is that it's this complicated dance between the three of them (or at least Spencer and the two of them), and the solution takes an action so simple as a kiss and a clasping of hands. I love how it's a view of Ryan and Brendon through Spencer, but that it's completely about Spencer and Spencer-wrapped-up-in-Ryan. I love how Ryan is the constant in Spencer's thoughts but drumming and rhythm are the real indicators of Spencer's mental state.

(And, okay, I'm a rampant fan of Jon and of Panic being in love with each other. It makes me wonder how Jon would fit coming into a band of the three of them. My mind is very happily taking it to the sex place. :P)

Haha, I'm glad. I always worry that I get too rambley or I completely miss the point and it's just obnoxious or embarrassing :P

(I can appreciate that, and I love having it from the horse's mouth that he does :D When fics are really good I have this habit of letting them go on in my mind, the fics that feel so organic that they can.)
