Best & (and a whole lotta) Worst Icons

May 26, 2005 16:49

I have some damn hideous icons, but they're all on my laptop and my laptop's internet isn't working right now. But, I think I have some really ugly ones on this computer, too.

- I just don't like it. The coloring, the text...

- Horrible blending and coloring, nasty text.

- I like the cropping and coloring, but the text and border don't fit.

- This scene in Reefer Madness was full of reds, meaning it's very hard to color nicely. I feel bad because I made Steven Weber look crappy.

- The border doesn't fit and the coloring is just weird. Plus, the text. I'm very bad with text in case you haven't noticed.

- I shouldn't add borders, it ruins my icons.

- I absolutely adore the coloring because of the way it brings out Ana's red hair, but the text (font, color, and the paint blob behind it) is gross.

- I saw someone using this & was surprised because of the bad use of light textures and the yucky brown behind the text.

- I have textless versions of all of these icons, by the way. Mainly I hate the text on them. This one... it's the border and font. Yuccccck.

- Only because of the coloring; I can slightly deal with the text and border. The coloring is again because of the red-colored scene in the movie.

- Hard cap to icon, there was no face in the frame, just the lighter, hand, and mouth. The coloring is... weird. Pink tones for a druggie? Uh, no.

- It just came out bad.

- Ewwww.

and
- I really like the first one, but the second is weird.

- It looks so pretty without the border and text.

and
- They look nice without the text, especially the second one.

- The coloring is horrid.

- That was supposed to come out so much cooler than it did.

Not my best, but see how much nicer without text?:
