Dorm Help

Okay UNCA people, I need some help/advice for room sign-up week (this week). I'm considering getting a double in Governors Hall next semester with my current roommate. I'm a junior and I've lived in the little South Ridge bubble since enrolling at UNCA. I'm happy for the most part with SR-it's quiet so I can do my homework, no one really goes

Grace and I checked "quiet hall" for Governors and never had any problems with noise/parties. Nobody's neighborly and I have no idea who lived on my hall other than my suitemates. >2 rooms to a b-room is not really an issue, because it will be some combination of singles and doubles, and you'll end up with usually the same amount of people as in any 2-room suite. In mine it was Grace and I in a double, and two other girls in singles. Plus they're nice big bathrooms and the potty is behind another door, and the shower is out of the way, so if someone is showering and you really needa pee, just knock and it's no problem.

I always kind of envied the breezeways because they LOOKED cool, but keep in mind you'd be opening the door of your suite right out into the rain or snow or what have you.

KEEP YOUR KEYS WITH YOU because the doors lock automatically when you close them.

I really recommend Governors, it's quite nice as far as dorms go. I love my ghetto-ass apartment a million times more, though.
