Maybe his daddy will change his mind once he gets tired of being woken up in the night by crying baby.
I co-slept with mine and Jayson says he never heard him cry or got woken up at night. And you just get a lot more sleep when all you have to do is roll over and pop a nipple in their mouth.
I had a co-sleeper thing. I think it was called "Safe and Secure Co-Sleeper". I still have it tucked away in a closet waiting for the next one. It has a little light on it so you can see to change a diaper in the middle of the night, but it's not so bright that you have a lot of trouble going back to sleep. I would use the argument "he's been sleeping with us all this time in my stomach, why change things now?"
