A Backyard Beating

Oh. My. God.

Reading that seriously gave me goosebumps from head to toe. Seriously, fuck that guy. I would call CPS, now. I think the sooner the better. Especially if he just physically hurt his son the marks and signs would be fresh. I can't believe he continued to beat his son while you were out there. Even if you weren't I still can't believe it. I feel so sad for that little boy. I really do. It would take every ounce of me to not jump over that fence and beat that man's ass myself.

I think I would've jumped the fence had Thomas not been alone in the kitchen (in his bouncy chair). I didn't call CPS - but I will Monday.

I hope they see something. I'm sure that bastard is going to deny every bit of it. Keep me posted!

We're doing well. He's more fun every day - we play lots. I'm pretty sure he's teething (drooling, biting hands, etc.) - and he's been having lots of green poos. Took him to the doctor and he's still gaining steadily - no fever - and after a stool culture - he was given a "clean bill of health"...

Definitely call CPS. And I hope they do a more thorough job where you live than they do around here.
