I desperately need a new computer. No joke. Every single day it bluescreens 4 times minimum, eeeevery day. There is no fixing this computer. We have sent it in, we have reformatted it, we have completely emptied it and reinstalled it so it was like brand new (Pfft) and...there's just no fixing it ( Read more... )

I believe Walmart would be a great place to look. You could try the pawn shop, but it's up to you. I know anywhere else charges an arm and a leg. One other place would be a rent to own center.

Well I'll try anywhere, my question is more what are the best specs to look at.

Walmart. Seconded. That's where I bought this new computer for 400 or so, and it works like a dream. I had to buy a new graphics card that cost 50 bucks because the graphics cards that come in cheap computers suck, but still, that's 450 for a brand new great working computer that NOW plays WoW wonderfully. XD

Okay so I have a place.

But that still doesn't help me with the fact that I don't know a thing about the specs of a computer. 8D!
