Trauma #1

He chuckles softly. This may be in fact the best day he has had in a while. Miranda and him were done ice skating. Grabbing her hand, with her protesting and pulling away he started walking towards the lab which now had a kitchen. Being out in the freezing weather it would be a sin not to have hot chocolate after. When they arrive to the lab/kitchen he opens the door for Miranda like a gentlemen would. When they both step in he closes it. Gesturing for her to follow him they walk towards the kitchen.

“Ready for my special one of a kind hot chocolate~” Grinning at her.

She surpasses a chuckle. It's rare to see him act so childish...in a positive way. The malicious and cruel Lavi was something she was use to seeing, but this Lavi at the moment was acting carefree he even had his guard down. Something she rarely saw a contractor do.

“Yes” she says followed by a couple of nods.

Lavi lets out a laugh and moves towards the drawers he pulls out an apron that says kiss the cook, and also pulls one meant for a woman. Waling towards Miranda he begins putting on her apron.

She takes a step back bringing the apron along “I can do it.” She can't help but stare at his apron.

“You like it” He winks at her, well he tries to make it obvious that he's winked.

“Yeah....it's unique.” Flashing him a smile.

He restrains himself from doing or saying anything out of line. This woman makes him feel comfortable and safe, sadly he couldn't say the same for her. He knew she was frightened by him. He couldn't blame her. What his goal was, or better yet his new years resolution was to make her comfortable around him. He stays quiet and takes out the ingredients and materials they were going to need.

She tilts her head. Wondering why he's being so quiet, but she waves it off. Watching him take out the things she offers to help him.

He gladly takes the help. “Okay lets see first things first. I'll grate the chocolate. And you can prepare three cups of milk.” Grabbing the chocolate he starts to grate it.

She does what she's told. Pouring the milk inside a measuring cup she glances at him.

He opens him mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. This isn't right. Why can't he move all of a sudden. The chocolate falls to the ground cracking in half when it hits the floor. The next thing he knew he was on the floor with an immanence pain shooting through his head. Gripping his head to try and ease the pain, but it wasn't helping. His breath became labored. Closing his eyes he began seeing pictures, but they were hard to make out. He saw a child running towards a woman, his mother maybe? He saw they way the mother smiled at the boy, and how the boy innocently smiled back. That memory felt so familiar yet he couldn't remember why.

Miranda noticed a change, but didn't comment on it. That's until she saw him hit the floor. She instantly went to his side forgetting about the milk in the process. “Lavi! What's wrong.” She tries to make him look at her. She was scared, she has never seen Lavi like this.

He forces his eyes open, but quickly regretted it. He was staring at her. She was scared, he didn't want to see her scared. Not anymore, he wanted her to be smiling like earlier. He wanted to hear her laughter, and see her happy. He wanted to reassure her that he was fine although he would be lying.....Then something hit him why does he care all of a sudden? He didn't before. Grunting from both the pain and confusion. He moves to look away from her. Only to be welcomed with extreme pain shooting through his body. Hissing, his body slowly succumbs to slumber.

She can't do anything but watch him suffer in agony. She wanted to get someone, but leaving him alone wasn't something she wanted to do. Using her powers were out of the question. Looking at her wrist were the binds were located, rendering her from her powers. Lavi should have never sealed her power away. Relieved when he finally goes to “sleep.” She moves him to pick him up and transport him to his bed. Lucky for her his room is next door.
