It's sooo hot. It skipped spring, the nice cool hoody + light jacket weather and went to sweating my balls off weather. Blech.
Has anyone seen the theatrical version of The Butterfly Effect? I just saw the directors cut and god DAMN that was sick and depressing. I didn't get to see the normal one, and I was curious if it was the same or if they cut ( Read more... )

i heard the ending in the theatre one was sugar coated. SPOILERS AHEAD DONT READ IF YOU DIDNT SEE ITT!!

In the directors cut they have him look at the old movies of his birth when hes trying to escape the mental hospital, and he chokes himself to death as the baby on his imbilical [spelling?] cord.. knowing he cant change anything no matter what, and everyone would be happier if he wasn't alive [and they flashed forward showing everyone growing up fine] and it linked to the other 2 stillborn babies she had. it was just so depressing hah and god all the scenes with the kid smashing people in the head and burning the dog, it was crazy

yea my parents have the dvd.. ive seen them both several times lol... i like the theatre one... its a more rational way of dealing with the situation than killing himself..
