-This diet and exercise thing has us eating almost like vegetarians. ALMOST. It's weird, I question my manhood daily. What is the recommended daily value of animal (based on a 2,000 calorie diet) anyway? 2nd weigh-ins are tomorrow, wish me luck.

Studies suggest that carb intake isn't so much determined by calorie count, but rather by your weight. One recommendation I found is to take your weight (in pounds) and multiply by .37, the resultant number is the number of grams of protein as a daily minimum - using this method, a person weighing 150 lbs. should eat 55 grams of protein per day.
