I'm in Thailand now. I had a very long trip and missed the morning workout, but the afternoon workout was more than sufficient for my first day. Too lazy to make a very thorough post, that will come later I'm sure.
The main thing is that I'm settled in now, and that apparently I was nowhere near the shape I needed to be in.
I've been continuing. I have a friend who is into a lot of strength and conditioning exercises, so we've been trading that for muay thai lessons at lunch
