Why is it that people always try and offer advice whenever someone complains?

What happened to just sitting down, shutting up, and letting someone rant?

Shockingly, any advice you could offer I've probably already considered.  It doesn't mean that I don't want to bitch about it any way ( Read more... )

Aw, thankee. I write a lot more than I post, because I don't want to seem like one of "those" whiny emo kids who doesn't realize that there are starving kids in Botswana--so it's nice to know that they're not ridiculously annoying to everyone else^_^

I apologize for the large amount of cursing in this one--shows that I shouldn't write anything while aggravated.

*joins in the fist shaking*

Sadists become teachers!

*patpat*

No ones ever right, because what they really want is tiny little mindless copies of themselves that will never disagree about anything!

The education system is designed to quash thought, not provoke it.

Luckily there are still a few teachers out there who manage to help us learn to be individuals, and if not... Well, some of us are to individual to quash :P That is you, dear :P

-preeeens- Thankee for the compliments^_^ They mean a lot coming from you

My aggravation is less that they all may have just disliked my paper, and more that they just couldn't be bothered to DO their JOBS properly.
(I mean, I've gotten not-perfect grades on papers before, from logical, thoughtful profs who had very good points about what needed to be improved, and I am completely capable of accepting it. I REFUSE to accept an, "eh, I'm lazy and I've got tenure!" half-assed attempt.)

Oh crazy crazy professors. On one hand, I'm glad I won't have to deal with them anymore. On the other...I have to deal with crazy bosses instead and supporting myself nearly completely once I graduate. This could be very interesting....

Y-Yeah, I think I'll take crazy professors over the real world for now, thanks. *sweats*

BTW, when -exactly- do you graduate? -must gift-ify you!-

Hey Lady Lady,
You know that you can always call and rant to me.
And I'll probably try and fix things....

Also, thanks for the texts!
You make me happy. When do you come home for Christmas?
