Thank GOD some people are still mildly sane.  And I'm pleased by the coverage in the article, as well, for being relatively un-biased.

Seriously? A girl, walking with her mother, sticks her head over a strangers fence and is surprised when she gets bitten?  And THAT is the basis for this ( Read more... )

I'm with you on the stupidity of making it breed specific at least. I'm also fully with the idea that the owners ought to be paying more attention to their dogs, be them pit bulls or golden retrievers. >.> It would help.

Agreeance on all accounts. Goldens, labs and german sheps, as far as the dinky incomplete and under funded surveys can ascertain, each make up a near equal percentage of reported bites than 'pit bulls,' but the bottom line is that any dog misapproached or mistreated has the capability of killing, much less biting ( ... )
