Eric Ladin's Video Diaries
Generation Kill pic-spam
Yes, that's it. We're starting out in Los Angeles, CA.
This is Eric Ladin, everybody. He talks about how all is stuff is being packed up for Africa, and then they have a farewell party for him where one of his friends tells him to, "don't share needles with strangers, as hard as it's gonna be" and "run away from the lions" and he also gets adult diapers and a cake.
And then he's in the car to go to the airport, and he's all excited, and check it out, his ticket even has his name on it!
The first morning. He has cornflakes, and then there's a chart where all the teams are listed, and one he's drawn himself where all the shortcuts are written down, for example: CO = GODFATHER.
Then Rudy teaches them how to use their guns, and there's a lot of behinds!? And they even get to use real guns, check it out! They're all excited about it.
Last day of bootcamp, they're doing a final mission that starts at, like, o dark 30. ASkars is all, "I'm a dinosaur! HEAR ME ROAR!" only not really; instead he's being all educated and smart and shit. Rudy's very proud of his boys, too.
After they practice their lines, Eric comes across Wilson Bethel sleeping, and Wilson is all, "I am a serious actor, I need fucking rest!" but then he starts laughing at his sillyness, too [which I could not cap because my computer? douchebag.].
Now the kids go off to get their clothing, see Kellan Lutz. And then? Surprise! Eric catches Wilson sleeping- AGAIN. This time, people are placing rocks, twigs and other ridiculous stuff on/around Wilson, which Stark Sands explains, sounding a lot like Nate Fick, and it's all hilarious.
And then! They have a party, and Captain Patterson does a lot of lulz-worthy faces, for example when the lights are ~hurting his eyes, and when he's explaining what is going on to the camera. I had to include a cap of Yair Lotan because LOOK AT HIM. IS HE NOT PRECIOUS?
Then they goof around [mostly Rudy and Eric] with the local kids, and it's all very lovely. There's also a scene where Stark Sands does what he does best: be a tease. But apparently, my computer wanted to protect y'alls virtue: IT WOULD NOT LET ME CAP THIS.
A... place that has lots of water? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS PLACE IS CALLED. But! They go swimming and behave like little boys, and there is a LOT of butt you can see through those shorts, and you REALLY need to watch those diaries if you haven't.
Towards the end: Lee Tergesen thinks this is the best show ever, Pawel Szajda loves elephants, Billy Lush rediscovers his love of acting, Daniel Fox has mixed emotions he cannot put in a sentence, Wilson Bethel is all *sadface* [yes, two caps ARE necessary], Marc Menchaca thinks all this happened way too soon and Stark Sands is feeling two emotions at once: excited to go home but sad this is over.
AREN'T WE ALL?
The last fist-bump for the team, the last football game. Then Eric has to turn off the camera before he gets all emotional [his words!], and then he's home. He's made a lot of good friends, and last night some of them went and had some beers, and IT WAS A GOOD TIME.
THE END.
