When I worked at Banana Republic I bought an 80.00 sweater (I think it was wool, or maybe cashmere) and my grandmother washed it after I wore it once. When it came out of the dryer it had shrunk so much that it wouldn't even fit her daschund! I don't know why but this entry reminded me of that.

yup, wool will do that to you. And it never stretches back again, it sucks! I suppose I'll end up getting it dry-cleaned if I wear it a lot.
