wolf and i are going to see the 8:30pm showing of star trek at the century daly city this thursday. century daly city is a very short walk from the daly city bart station. we're not going to buy tickets in advance because i doubt it will sell out. we'll probably get down there around 6:30 or 7, buy our tickets, and hit up fuddruckers if there ( Read more... )

i've been mainly hearing that if you can forget it's supposed to be star trek then you'll enjoy it. not so sure i can do that, so we'll see!

i had a great time. and i found this jewelry shop that was having a 50% off sale on their silver! i got an onyx ring, a blue moonstone ring to match a pendant that i have, and a hematite pendant. i could have gotten a LOT more. it's a good thing i didn't know my tax return had come through already. i'll be back down there for a work related conference at the end of may and am debating whether or not to go pick up the mystic topaz ring i was eyeing.

Why don't you think it'll sell out (and why is it on a Thursday anyway if the movie comes out Friday?)? Popular movies sell out there all the time, and for Star Trek I'd planned to buy my tickets tomorrow (although I was actually thinking for the IMAX at the Metreon). Anyway, as you probably know, I work in the same building as that Fuddruckers (literally 2 floors above it) and will probably be there anyway at that time, so I'm interested.

we just didn't want to have to pay the service charge for buying through fandango or moviefone or whatever or end up buying like 20 ppl's tix and waiting for everyone to show up and all but if you wanted to nab the tickets for jess and I in advance since you are right there we could pay you when we get there to make sure we get in.

kewl- we are going to head down after jess get's back from work so we should be there @ 6:30 or so, so long as the train isn't held up on her way back here- if there is an early line one of us can grab food- tomorrow of course I mean
