I was just randomly browsing Wikipedia, as I often do, and I stumbled across the article on the LGM-30 Minuteman ICBM.

I had to attend this training thing at work today, which was done via a conference call. About 350 people attended this meeting. When I dialed into the conference, it was set up as a standard conference call. So... I'm sitting there with my headset on, listening to 350 people talking directly into my ear. Gah... It's so hot in here. My office is about 85°F right now. Apparently the air conditioners failed on Friday when the power went out, and they couldn't fix them over the weekend. Someone just went around and shut off the lights to try and cool us down. Unfortunately, that doesn't help the fact that there are a few thousand computers here ( Read more... )
