You guys ever have one of those shoeboxes? ya' know? Full of the odd assorted crap that you have little need for, but much attachment to? I did. It was a box full of silly little things like my goo eggtimers and my pendant necklaces that I was given by my old friends. Nothing of great worth but mine all the same. Anyhow, I consented to moving room

Sadly, I have 3 or 4 of those shoeboxes. They are fun to go through, though. You always find all this neat stuff you didn't remember about and probably won't remember about after you put the box away.

I have lots of shoeboxes full of assorted crap, but it's not really stuff I am attached to. They have things like broken calculators and really ugly buttons, and dead batteries and bits of string and cassettes of awful music from the eighties and cinema tickets and toys you get in crackers and pencil sharpenings, and those little pens you get in Argos and odd playing cards (there are many packs of cards missing one of two), a random marble and some elastic bands.

I should throw more things away I think.

ah yes, that sort of shoebox, I had one like that as well, but my elder brothers are a bit "cleaning nazi"-ish so it got thrown out...
