So it just hit me. Christmas is coming in less than 4 days. Which means I've been in the state of Arizona for a year (almost). Which means, I've been away from all of my friends and family for just as long (minus my brother). I've met some awesome people here in Arizona. But no matter how many Noahs and Melanies I meet... they can't replace my friends that I left behind. People insistently ask "When are you coming home?" and every time... it's "I don't know." I'm aiming for late spring if that helps. Sometime, maybe mid-May or early June. You know, a time where my ass won't freeze to death after having my blood thin so much that anything below 70 means a sweater and two pairs of socks. It's weird I tell you. Atleast Aurore will be coming to visit me in a few months. She's the awesomest.

But anyway, I digress. Back to Christmas. I act like I don't get into the holidays at all. I act all Scroogish - but to be honest, I was so excited about Christmas shopping this year. The year of the Practical Gift. I try to people please too much and that's why I get depressed. Will (my brother) is on my ass about working on Christmas. I can't help it. I work on New Year's as well. Nothing I can do. But anyway, yeah, so I get to work my 10 hours on Sunday and not be able to have a "Christmas dinner" and by the time we open our gifts, it'd be almost Dec. 26th. *sigh*

And a Christmas tradition almost passed me by this year. I realized tonight (almost too late) that I haven't watched "A Christmas Story" yet this year. I have to watch it atleast once a year. So I had to hurry up and rip/burn a copy of my current Netflix to mail off tomorrow so they can send me "A Christmas Story" by Saturday.

Oh and yeah, I went to see the Woman Doctor on Tuesday. She says "everything looks good." Ha... she said "my junk" "looks good" hahahaha. But anyway, when they take my blood pressure, I always make sure to ask "was that good"? She said "yes, you're normal." Which made me do research to see what "normal" is. So I found that 120/80 is normal. Anything above but below 140/90 is "prehypertension" or some junk. My systotic number is in the "not normal but not hypertensive" numbers, but my diastolic number is normal. So what gives? I'd like to know if I was "not normal" so why lie? Grr. Oh well. 2006 is coming up fast, so I'll stick to my NYResolution for longer than the 2.5 months I did my crunches. Boy was that working well though. So we'll see how I do with next year's. It'll be more cardio.

I just got done watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I liked it. Hopefully I'll get to see Wolf Creek this weekend. Hopefully.
