i've been in the hospital for the past week and two days. i took 80 clonidine (blood pressure medicine given to me for withdrawals) and slit my wrists. apparently i lowered my blood pressure so much with the clonidine that i didn't lose but a pint or two of blood. hugh drove me to the hospital after i realized that death was going to take days.

Jon, seriously, best of luck to you. If there is any up-side to this situation, at least you're still young and haven't thrown away the majority of your life. Better now than with a wife and kids.

I can't say that despite all the times I was at your apartment I ever made any kind of friendship with you, which was my fault and I really regret it. I've always mantained that you're one of the more intelligent people I've ever met. I hate that your going through this and I hate that I may never see you again. I feel like your somone I could have a pretty deep conversation with, probably a really insightful one that would open my eyes to a alot of things.
