I ended up in a pub in Lymm once - just off the main road - can't for the life of me think what it was called though. It was fair few years ago, back in the days when I had purple hair. I must say the bar staff and locals really made us feel welcome - in a League of Gentlemen "this a local pub for local people" sort of way. Hehehe... Bastards ;)
Strangely enough I never bothered going again! :D

Lymm is where i went to school & spent most of my years, 17 in fact.
Hmmmm, pub off the main road...i suppose you mean Higher Lane so it could be anything like the Church Green which was a bit 'locally'.
You should have seen the look i got from the bar guy in The Fleece in the village!!
I think i've always been a bit too..exotic for Lymm & Warrington cos i used to get those looks back when i was a v.v.v.v.long haired-colourful-metal-kooky teenager..i moved there when i was only five but i never fit in.
Oh well! Who cares now hey, certainly not me! *grins*
