Today evening there is a protest being organised on Nanda Road against the proposed tree felling in the name of Metro & other so called infrastructure development projects. Sorry Sasndy had not checked lj in sometime. It went well but the number of people turned out was pathetic - in spite of announcing it a few days in advance and the cause being noble only 250 numbers truned up. Among our group only Sujay had joined in. Really sad response it was. There is one more round of protest on Sunday at 10:30 Am hope you can join in atleast this time.

Oh, that's sad :( But what to do, the average person does not realize that government schemes are not always well planned. Anything goes in the name of "development". But keep fighting for the cause! I am sure you people have already made an impact on the minds of young people. I will definitely tell my friends about the Sunday event.
