Okay...so my mom has been on me lately to make goals for the future as well as the present lately. My goals for the present are a bit more well defined because its in the here and now and I know exactly what I want and need to do.

so here are the goals I need to accheive by the end of this weekend:
1.)ALL of my laundry washed and folded.
2.)my room at least partially cleaned with my hello kitty tv set up in it once again.
3.) My laptop sent back to toshiba.
4.) email back my ambassador app.

and thats all i can thin k of at the moment. will be editted to include anything else I need to get done.

Goals for the end of the week:

1.)Call that place about the problems with my fafsa or whatever.
2.)more of my room cleaned
3.)start on my diet (to be outlined later in this entry)
4.) find a back up job to the student ambassador position
5.) buy my school books and start studying them....look over my old micro econ stuff.
6.) buy some new school clothes...I think I might try to start looking decent/professional. NO high heels though still.
7.) talk to resa about scheduling our show.
8.) renew my permit.
9.) do at least one last thing thats fun for the summer.
10.) get myself into a better sleeping pattern

Goals for the end of September:

1.)keep up in school. (obvious)
2.) start saving up...at least 21 a week in savings.
3.) have lost at least 10 lbs. at most 40.

I can't think of anythng else for september, but this will probably be added to.

Goals for the end of the year.
1.) save enough so that getting an apartment is a real possibility.
2.) have lost at least 20 lbs from the diet
3.) get the deans list.
4.) finish at least one work of writing to submit to venture (suffolks lit magazine)

Long-term goals.
1.) finish college knowing what I want to do with my life and having a decent GPA.
2.) become more independant, and more willing to talk to others outside of my "safety net" of friends.
3.) finish a piece of writing that I publish in a state-wide, or national paper/magazine.
4.) move out before the age of 25.
5.) keep my weight down

and now on to the diet...

okay first and foremost, I need to slowly ween myself off tonic. the sodium in it bloats me and all in all its just not good for me. I'll be replacing it with apple juice, water (mostly water) and tea. I'm not going to snack between meals anymore because thats where alot of my problems lie. I am going to start eating 3 meals a day, because I figure if I eat the way I'm supposed to, I'll be less hungry in between, and I'll have more energy as well.  saturdays and sundays are days that I've decide I can eat whatever I want....so long as I work my ass off on mondays at the gym, and walk with mary both nights. No food after 8, unless its fruit. Also, if I must snack during the day, fruit, veggies and nuts are the only acceptable snacks.

Besides eating better, I need to start exercising more. 20 minutes on the gazelle at least once a week. walking with mary as often as possible, and any time it won't make me late, I'm going to walk all 11 flights of stairs to my english class in sawyer. I'm going to start doing crunches daily before bed and in the morning....starting out with ten each time and moving up as I progress. I might set aside one day were I just go crazy with exercise and do jumping jacks and everything too lol. I'm also planning on either joining or gym or making use of suffolks. at least a  half hour in there every time I go in.

I know it sounds pretty vague, and doesn't sound very rigorous or even helpful to some people..but i know its helped in the past, and its vague so that I can have some flexibility with it.

this isn't exactly how I wanted to write all this...but its what came out so meh.
