So my yoga teacher offered us a weekend detox agenda and fresh juice. Being the wonderfully unhealthy and stressed out person I am, I took it up like candy. I really didn't think I could make it through the two days without food - and all in all I didn't - but I stuck to the foods outlined in the plan- at least until about 7pm

I also did a detox about 1.5 years ago - it was really un-fun. I can't really understand its true value. Instead, it might be better to gradually involve more fresh veggies and less fried stuff into one's diet.
It shouldn't be all at once, especially if you are prone to migraines and things. That's just not healthy. Try cutting down on caffeine over a week or 2 while adding more fresh (even steamed or sauteed) veggies and fruits (not canned, not dried).
I just posted about fake healthy foods too. Funny coincidence.
