I've been conditionally admitted to Fayetteville State University's graduate school, my full admission to the program is going to be discussed by the psychology committee on June 22nd. I was personally called by the graduate director of the psychology program today, and we had a really good conversation where it seems that he wants me in the ( Read more... )

I had an assistantship this year at WVU and I'd highly reccomend it. Not only does it pay your tuition fees, and maybe a living stipend (depending on the school of course) but at least here, it really integrates you into the academic community. It really was beneficial having to be around everyone in the program outside of course-related work, you have a better idea of what is going on. Anyway, best of luck! Graduate school is a whole other world. I just highly reccomend doing a 2 year program. I did 36 hours in 10 months, and it was miserable. It wouldn't have been bad at all if it were spread out over two years though.
