I still want a Revolution though. Just because I will always stick with Nintendo no matter how greedy and twisted they become.
But after thinking about it a little more... It just *might* be nice. Why? Because when I am being lazy laying on the sofa while playing console games, I can't seem to get comfortable... Sooo... Playing with one hand???? YAY! (Please no one turn that playing with one hand thing around... >.>)
But still... It will take a LOT of getting used to.
Erm. You realize you don't have to play with one hand, right? That remote thing, it's just a hub, of sorts. You stick it in to other things if you want to try a different experience. IGN just put up a mock-up as an example of what Nintendo described:
OOOH! I didn't see that picture!! x.x Well that is a relief!
I take that back for saying Nintendo was greedy. What am I thinking!? Turning against Nintendo like this?? I know that Mr.Nintendo cares for us all! He is doing this for us! Not himself! T_T *breaks down and cries*
But yeah... I am happy you posted on this. I need to stop jumping to conclusions.
I think it will totally rock.... No one seems to understand that all they've done is taken a controller and pulled it apart, made it modular. You already grab the back of a playstation or gamecube controller; all this does is get rid of the middle bits, and rid the system of unnecessary buttons... would you rather have one two-handed controller with 12 buttons on it, or one half with a stick, and the other half swappable for different games?
I understand it now. I don't know how many other girl's on that community do though. I am sure after thinking about it a lot they will grow to like the idea. Now, after actually READING about them instead of LOOKING AT THE PICTURES (I really hate myself sometimes...), I can't wait to try it out.

The two-handed one! Since I am used to those kinds... But I can always try something new... Like a stick and a thing! Attached with a string!

Probably that the industry is growing stagnant and they're making a helluva lot of money of new ideas, like the DS.
