Radiohead
There's this one high note that Thom Yorke hits in the first song off Pablo Honey that reminds me so much of Mr. Jeff Buckley... every single time. Just that two seconds of voice. It's amazing.
Now for some Current Events...
Today was filled with a lot of crap, and I hate crap. Meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Okay, two meetings. Two pointless meetings and NO soccer game for me. Altogether, it was a rather successful evening; I must admit.
Vocations Week is next week. So, at first, I am thinking that this could be great, but no, I was blinded. Then I am reminded that I go to a catholic school. One that teaches "God's work". So I guess that lecture I was hoping for about "How to be a successful NBA star and retire at age 28" is out the window. Dang. I shouldn't get my hopes up like that.
Also, more fun news. Sweetheart is this weekend. Did I mention that dances disgust me. I cannot and do not dance anymore. Period.
To top off that colossal load of gayness, our National Honor Society is holding a Academic Challenge Day for a bunch of unworthy little middle schoolers. Yay. What's even better about this is that I am in NHS, (unfortunately) and I must attend. I am not worthy.
And to finish this whole month off with a bang, January 29, 2005 begins Catholic Schools Week. They have holidays for everything these days. Die you stupid Hallmark Gold Crown people.
Well, I am PMSing, and I am proud to admit it, so I will be on my way to torture some other lame soul.
Goodnight,
Kayla
P.S. Do you feel like we do?
