Hubby is also addicted to Guitar Hero, but we don't have Rock Band (because we don't have either of the two systems it is out for yet). It is funny you mention the drumming, since that is the main reason I want to get Rock Band. :) Maybe I should join your band! hehe
I understand being swamped with local stuff. Would LOVE to see you guys again at a Games Night sometime! (Including tonight)
We also have a game of CarWars going on some Saturday evenings (including tomorrow).

I've heard that Rock Band is going to have a PS2 version at some point, so that is something to consider. (not sure if that's true)
And the drums are very cool. Everyone who seems to like drumming at all has a great time with it. I like it well enough, but the lure of the guitar rips me right off of it.
But I'll tell ya, hammer ons and pulls offs are kicking my arse. Doing really high-speed shredding of that type isn't something that just clicks in overnight. I only have 9 more songs to do on expert, but then the real challenge comes--I have to get more than 3 stars on a lot of these. Yikes.
And Guitar Hero is supposed to be more challenging than Rock Band, so I have plenty of work to do. I'll probably get Guitar Hero II at some point. Fear, fear, fear. :)
I think that before Brownies they should have Cookies. No one can convince me that such a name wouldn't be absolutely adorable.
