Eileen Sweeney, In Memoriam

It was almost a decade ago that Eileen Sweeney, the mother of my childhood classmate and one of My Mom's dearest friends, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Ten years she fought the beast at a cost of two radical mastectomies and, more recently, a series of brain surgeries after her cancer opened a new front in the war. Cappy, sounds like Eileen inspired many a person. Kristin and I will keep her in our prayers and hearts.
