Although I'm surprised with Marissa showing up. And did i detected some kind of animosity from Marissa towards Ryan... Cause i think if anyone is going to understand Summer it would be Ryan....

I had Marissa act like that because it has been a long time since she has seen either of them and she has to basically get to know them again. So she was acting like that to make sure that Ryan was taking care of her best friend.
