Not really sat down and watched Dexter. I have been told by friends that its worth I watch. I really should watch it.

worth watching!! I consider it to be one of the best series in years, up there with the X-files (early series), House (series 1&2) and Babylon 5. Unlike most other shows, it gets better with each series.
