Snoring cats?

Feb 25, 2003 17:06

One of the freeloading feline demons who lives with me has a major snoring problem. Max can be heard from other rooms. Of course it's cute. What's even cuter is that his purr is even louder.

But I wonder...do other people's cats snore, too?

Not that I recall. Maybe he has a cold? Do cats get colds?

Yeah, cats do get colds (called upper-respitory infection) and when they get them it's really bad news. But that's not the deal with Max, unless he's had a cold the entire 4 1/2 years we've lived together.

He's such a mama's boy that he always sleeps with me, hopping into bed with me at night and always staying till the morning. He just discovered the joy of sleeping under the blankets, and I swear it's making his snore louder.

Awwww, so cute! I love it when my little girl cat sleeps under the covers.

Here is a story/post of another person with snoring cats.

That is such a great story! I also hate to move the cats when they sleep with me. While the other 2 are easily offended and will leave, Max won't budge, no matter how much I poke or move him. I think he inherited my stubborn streak.

I used to have a wrinkled dog. He snored like it was his job.
