So my Abi and i colored eggs for Easter tonight :o>
From left to right: The Celtics egg i made for my Abi, the "Yuck" egg my Abi made, the rubber banded egg Abi made, the "Fancy Nancy" Egg i made, the Olivia Pig egg i made and the marbled egg my Abi made
The Celtics' egg was made using a wax crayon. Hmm imagine ME having access to a WAX anything lol. But, it's hard to tell where you have drawn and where you have not, so my shamrock was a little off
Every year my Abi takes his last egg and after we are finished with all of the dye colors he dips the egg into all the colors and creates what he calls the "Yuck" egg. But funny enough every year it always turns out to look very kewl. :o)
It's a little fuzzy close up, but this is the "Fancy Nancy" egg i colored. Abi said it was his favorite egg of the ones we made :oD.
The Olivia Pig egg i made. It's simple and oh so Olivia!
Abi made this marble egg by adding cooking oil to the dye before adding the egg. i think it looks like a dreamcicle :o>
This is the rubber banded egg. Abi made it by first dipping the egg in yellow then putting two rubber bands around it and dipping it in the blue. i think it turned out GREAT! Leave it to my Abi to leave stripe marks on an egg! The yellow this year was the best yellow i've ever used! It's because Abi put food coloring in with the egg dye so we had great dark colors!.
