Room of Light; Mickey's Room at the Trans [Tag Jun]

The trans hotel was a beautiful place, though laced with foreboding in every shadow. Mickey casually ignored these shadows, instead casting a polished charcoal glance at glimmering pillars and shined floors. Looking past the darkness, the place was an absolute work of art ( Read more... )

Jun takes in this new place with interest; his dark eyes capturing the details of such a completely different place. The darkness was nothing Jun was afraid of; he'd lived within his own sort of darkness for quite a long time, and as long as this kind wasn't the sort to start allowing his old tormentors to talk to him, Jun would be fine.

He watches as the familiar key-shaped weapon appears in Mickey's hand. It looked as though Sora wasn't the only one able to wield such things after all. But then the door swings open, and Jun steps inside at Mickey's beckoning. Simple or no, Jun smiles and slowly moves to a corner, leaning against one of the walls for now.

"...Thank you very much." Jun says quietly, his voice as soft as the light in the room. "I...guess I did need to get out."

The cloak crinkles behind him, leather rumbling all-too-lowly as the king followed Jun into the room, pausing slightly to turn on his heel and secure two tiny hands to the large door behind him. He pushed it closed, before nodding his hood back, and smiling over at Jun.

"Ya don't have to stand," Mickey pointed out, kindly, scurrying across the room to a plush black armchair, and touching the side of it with a gloved hand of a matching color. "I did say to make yourself at home, didn't I?" The mouse giggled, before he paused, ears perking up at the sounds coming from the adjoining bathroom. Sssshwtch. Sssswtch. The king blinks in confusion, the fingers on his right hand grasping inconstantly at air, noting yet again that he'd already dispelled the keyblade. Noone else should have been in the room, so.. "Eh-heh. Pardon me. I have no idea what that is.." Fearlessly, he heads for the bathroom door.

Jun opened his mouth to say that he did the same thing at home, that he spent his nights in the corner of Tatsuya's room safely against a wall, hiding from his own fears, but the sound from the bathroom catches Jun's senses as well. Instinctively he tenses, hand reaching for...a flower that was not there.

"..Ah!" He'd given away the flower, and thus his weapon of choice. Immediately he tenses further, nodding to Mickey but taking a step closer himself. "...someone here?" He asks quietly. There should be no reason for Jun to react the way he does, but after all he's been through, he cannot relax completely. It was probably nothing, Jun tries to tell himself. Just the wind...probably.

The ethereal golden shimmer occurs once again, summoning the shining golden key to Mickey's hand. Twirling it once in his grasp, he aims at the bathroom door--a door presumably not locked, but it was always good to be cautious--and it, too, pops open...sending a flood of water across the floor. Mickey lets out a confused yelp, jumping and splishing a bit in the ankle-high water. It's clear that half of this is for show; the king would have been much more serious had he thought an enemy was afoot. But knowing he kept his room sealed against intruders, well ( ... )
