BTW - excuse the typos - one should never reply after midnight once they've taken their meds. I really thought I hit spell check.....

Hey, probably the best fan writer I know, and a wickedly intelligent woman, can't spell worth beans. I've learned to overlook typos after years of writing to and with her. If we're working on a story together I'll just edit it and let it pass. I'm a pretty good speller and don't usually resort to spell check, although I'm NOT a particularly good typist so I probably SHOULD use spell check more often.

By the way, that writer mentioned above has her first novel in a series of three being published by a division of Random House in the spring. A three book deal right out the gate. Spelling is nothing to sweat...::grin::

I have tri-focals as it is, and they're still working pretty well for the computer. The blurriness is mainly gone already, except when I'm tired. I'm way overdue for a checkup, though. Now that I finally have MediCal (long story) I can even go to a doctor without having to break my sister's bank account for new glasses ( ... )
